Cortex IOS is a secure cloud-based School Operating System developed by Aionpixel Technologies Private Limited and is used by educational institutions to manage admissions, academics, attendance, communication, fee management, learning, reporting, and other authorised School operations.
This Notice is intended to provide a clear and concise explanation of our privacy practices. It should be read together with the Cortex IOS Product Privacy Policy, which provides a more comprehensive description of information processing.
2. Our Role
Your child's School determines:
- what information is collected
- why it is collected
- who may access it
- how long it is retained
- how it is used for educational and administrative purposes
Aionpixel provides the Cortex IOS technology platform that securely stores and processes this information on behalf of the School.

Depending on the School's requirements, Cortex IOS may process information relating to:
- Your Child
- name
- photograph
- date of birth
- admission information
- academic records
- attendance
- assessments
- report cards
- class and section
- transport information
- library information
- fee records
- authorised communications
- uploaded documents
- student welfare information where enabled
- other information required by the School
Parents and Guardians
Information relating to parents or guardians may include:

- relationship to the student
- mobile number

- residential address
- emergency contact details
- communication preferences
- payment-related information

- authorised portal activity
4. Why Information Is Used
Information may be used to support authorised School activities including:
- student admission
- academic administration
- attendance

We do not use student educational records for behavioural advertising.
We do not sell student personal information.

Although no online system can guarantee absolute security, Aionpixel continually works to protect information using appropriate administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards.
7. Mobile Application
The Cortex IOS Android and iOS applications are designed for existing authorised users.
The mobile applications:
- do not provide public registration
- do not create parent accounts
- do not create student accounts
- do not enrol students
- do not independently delete user accounts
Parent access is provided only after an account has been authorised by the School through the Cortex IOS web platform or other authorised School processes.
8. Communications
The School may use Cortex IOS to send:
- attendance alerts
- examination notifications
- fee reminders
- School circulars
- emergency notices
- transport updates
- report card notifications
- event announcements
- other important School communications
Some communications are essential for the operation of the School.
Although you may be able to manage preferences for optional communications, essential educational or safety-related communications may continue to be sent through available authorised communication channels.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Where applicable, you may be able to:
- review your profile
- update contact information
- correct inaccuracies
- manage optional communication preferences
- submit privacy requests
- request access to eligible personal information
- request correction of eligible information
- request deletion of eligible personal information where permitted by applicable law and School requirements
Certain educational and financial records may need to be retained by the School and cannot always be deleted immediately.

When you first access Cortex IOS, you may be asked to acknowledge that you have reviewed:

This acknowledgement records that privacy information has been made available to you.
Where a specific processing activity requires consent under applicable law or School policy, Cortex IOS may present a separate consent request.
Privacy acknowledgement and consent are recorded independently.

However, some educational, attendance, financial, statutory, or School records may need to be retained in accordance with applicable requirements.
