1. Introduction

1.1 Purpose

Aionpixel Technologies Private Limited ("Aionpixel", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to conducting its business with integrity, transparency, accountability, and respect for the privacy and security of information entrusted to Cortex IOS.

This Legal & Transparency Statement explains our approach to:

3. Government and Law Enforcement Requests

3.1 General Principle

Aionpixel does not voluntarily disclose customer information to government agencies or law enforcement authorities without an appropriate legal basis.

Where a request for information is received, we assess the request before any disclosure is made.

3.2 Assessment of Requests

When evaluating a request, we may consider:

  • legal authority
  • jurisdiction
  • scope of the request
  • necessity
  • proportionality
  • contractual obligations
  • applicable privacy requirements
  • the nature of the information requested

We may seek clarification where a request appears unclear, overly broad, or inconsistent with applicable legal requirements.

3.3 Notification

Where legally permitted and operationally appropriate, Aionpixel may notify the affected School before disclosing information in response to a legal request.

Notification may not be possible where prohibited by law, court order, or other legally binding requirement.

3.4 Emergency Requests

Where an immediate and serious threat to life, safety, or critical public interests exists, Aionpixel may assess emergency disclosure requests in accordance with applicable law.

Such disclosures are expected to be exceptional and limited to the information reasonably necessary to address the emergency.

4. Transparency Regarding Customer Information

4.1 Confidentiality

Information processed through Cortex IOS is treated as confidential except where disclosure is authorised or required by law.

We do not publish customer information.

We do not disclose customer information for marketing purposes.

4.2 Sale of Personal Information

Aionpixel does not sell student personal information processed through Cortex IOS.

We do not use student educational records to create behavioural advertising profiles.

4.3 Commercial Advertising

Cortex IOS is designed as an educational platform.

Information processed through Cortex IOS is not used to deliver targeted behavioural advertising to students based on their educational records.

6. Responsible Security Disclosure

6.1 Reporting Vulnerabilities

Security researchers and users who identify a potential security issue affecting Cortex IOS are encouraged to report it responsibly.

Reports should include sufficient technical detail to allow investigation.

6.2 Good Faith Research

We support good faith security research conducted responsibly.

Individuals should avoid:

  • accessing customer information without authorisation
  • disrupting production services
  • exploiting vulnerabilities beyond what is reasonably necessary to demonstrate the issue
  • publicly disclosing vulnerabilities before Aionpixel has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate

Nothing in this Statement authorises penetration testing or security testing without prior written approval.

7. Abuse Reporting

7.1 Reporting Abuse

Reports may be submitted regarding:

  • misuse of Cortex IOS
  • unauthorised access
  • fraudulent activity
  • abusive communications
  • suspected privacy incidents
  • intellectual property concerns
  • platform misuse
  • other legal or security concerns

Reports should include sufficient information to support investigation.

7.2 Investigation

Aionpixel may investigate reported concerns and, where appropriate:

  • request additional information
  • coordinate with the School
  • suspend access
  • implement corrective actions
  • notify relevant parties
  • comply with applicable legal obligations

8. Export Control and Sanctions

Cortex IOS is intended for lawful use.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Cortex IOS complies with applicable export control, sanctions, and trade laws relevant to their jurisdiction.

Aionpixel may restrict access where required by applicable law.

9. Transparency Reports

9.1 Commitment

Aionpixel intends to promote transparency regarding legal requests affecting customer information.

Where appropriate, we may periodically publish aggregate information relating to:
