What is Cortex IOS?

Cortex IOS is a cloud-based School Operating System developed by Aionpixel Technologies Private Limited. It helps Schools manage admissions, academics, attendance, learning, assessments, examinations, report cards, fees, accounting, communication, transport, human resources, governance, and other authorised School operations.

Who uses Cortex IOS?

Who owns Cortex IOS?

Cortex IOS is owned and operated by Aionpixel Technologies Private Limited.

Who owns the student data?

The School remains responsible for its educational records and determines how they are collected and managed.

Aionpixel provides the technology platform that securely processes and stores the information.

Does Aionpixel sell personal information?

No.

Aionpixel does not sell student, parent, teacher, or School personal information processed through Cortex IOS.

Is student information used for advertising?

No.

Student educational information is not used to create behavioural advertising profiles.

Why does the School collect information such as religion or caste?

Some Schools collect demographic information to meet educational, scholarship, regulatory, or government reporting requirements.

The decision regarding which information to collect is made by the School.

Cortex IOS provides the secure platform used to manage this information.

Why is family income or socio-economic information requested?

Certain educational programmes, scholarship schemes, fee concessions, and government reporting requirements may require this information.

Only information requested by the School should be collected.

Can parents view their child's information?

Yes.

Parents may view information that the School has authorised them to access through Cortex IOS.

Can students view information?

Yes.

Students may access information made available through their authorised student account.

Can one School view another School's information?

No.

Cortex IOS uses tenant-based logical separation to ensure that Schools cannot access each other's information.

How is information protected?

Is my password stored in plain text?

No.

Passwords are handled using secure authentication practices and are not intended to be stored in plain text.

Can Aionpixel employees see School information?

Such access is controlled, logged, and limited to authorised personnel.

Does Cortex IOS monitor user activity?

Significant platform activities may be recorded in audit logs to support security, compliance, troubleshooting, and operational accountability.

Can anyone create an account using the mobile application?

No.

The Cortex IOS Android and iOS applications do not support public registration.

Accounts are created and managed through authorised School or web-platform processes.

Can users delete their account through the mobile application?

No.

Account creation, modification, suspension, and deletion are managed by the School or authorised administrators through the web platform.

Why does the mobile application request permissions?

Permissions are requested only when required for specific functionality.

Can I stop receiving School notifications?

You may be able to manage preferences for optional communications.

However, important educational, administrative, safety, emergency, or statutory communications may continue to be delivered through authorised channels to ensure that essential information reaches you.

Why can't I disable all School communications?

These communications support the School's legitimate educational and administrative responsibilities.

Does Cortex IOS use Artificial Intelligence?

Some Schools may enable AI-assisted features.

Does AI make decisions about students?

No.

AI-assisted functionality supports authorised users.

Teachers, administrators, and School personnel remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and making educational or administrative decisions.

Is all student information sent to AI providers?

No.

Only information required for a specific AI-enabled feature may be processed, depending on the feature's implementation and the School's configuration.

The use of AI does not result in the automatic transmission of the entire School database or all student records.

Can I request access to my information?

Yes.

Eligible individuals may request access to personal information in accordance with applicable law, School policies, and the Cortex IOS Privacy Policy.

Can I correct inaccurate information?

Yes.

Incorrect information should be reported to the School or updated through authorised processes where available.

Can I request deletion?

You may submit a request.

However, certain educational, financial, audit, employment, attendance, or statutory records may need to be retained in accordance with applicable legal or School requirements.

Will Aionpixel disclose my information to the Government?

Aionpixel does not voluntarily disclose customer information without an appropriate legal basis.

Where a lawful request is received, it is assessed before any disclosure is made.

Where legally permitted, the affected School may be notified.

Does Aionpixel publish transparency reports?

Aionpixel intends to expand transparency reporting as Cortex IOS evolves.

Information regarding transparency initiatives will be made available through the Cortex IOS Trust Centre.
